Merry Christmas

For those south of the equator, I hope today was relaxing and good for you.

For those of you north of the equator, it’s all ahead of you and I hope it’s a great day.

Wherever you are, I hope your Christmas day included a little bit of joy like this. When Alice got her present from us, some stackable PlaySchool blocks, she was positively jubilant.

Alice and blocks

Everyone should do a little dance of joy at Christmas.

Have a happy, safe day.

  1. She just gets cuter and cuter! I’m jealous that you got to spend the holiday with your niece. My two are 800 miles away, though I did have a lovely phone conversation with one of them. Happy holidays!

  2. My first thought was “Alice looks happy” and then I thought “It’s December and below freezing out there and she’s wearing shorts!”

I hope your day was filled with joyful moments.

  3. Merry Christmas, Bells! Even my 2yo understood that Santa was going to come to our house while she was sleeping, and we’re having a wonderful day. Most of us are still in our pajamas (at almost 3:30 pm!). That’s a perfect Christmas Day in my book!

  4. Merry Christmas, Bells! We watched on NORAD yesterday as Santa made his way to you guys first. And now he’s been here, and what a wonderful day it is. As you all dance around in your bare feet and t-shirts, I’m experiencing the first Christmas snow of my lifetime. And while it probably won’t be quite cold enough to lay, we’re enjoying the sight of it falling. Thanks for sharing your wonderful self all year round. XOXO!!

  5. That’s a fabulous Christmas dance, I saw a dance and some screams of excitement from a three year old today too: warms the cockles of one’s heart!!
